About Multiply and Surrender:

Lev, 18

Why did you join the team?
I joined the team because I always wanted to try out cyber security, after competing the Cisco Networking course in school. I also found the concept of securing images interesting, and wanted to see exactly how it happens. Finally, I’m hoping to apply what I learn from the contest to my personal internet security.

What career would you like to pursue in the future?
I’m hoping to work as a developer for a gaming company, or possibly as a computer scientist. Given that my aspirations all deal with computers, I find it very important that I remain say near computers.

What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?
I like to play chess, read books, solve math problems, and make computer games. Often, this ends up happening at the expense of homework, which I am not very fond of.

What is your Favorite food or snack?
My favourite food is probably pizza, as it comes in so many varieties that it can be considered the most universal food. It is also easily obtainable and distributable.

Name 3 things you would bring with you to a deserted island.
A fueled jet plane to get off the island once I get bored, someone who knows how to work the jet plane (also there to help me not be lonely), and an endless supply of warm pizza that does not go bad, so that I can use to survive on the island (again, the universality of pizza). This endless supply of pizza can also act as a primary source of income, as I can distribute across the world with the help of the jet plane.

Anything else you would like to add?
Generally, when it comes to adding, I tend to go to numbers. I would like to be able to add 12340809873049872309872345 and 1969028374692349087529. Fortunately, I don’t need to do this by hand, as the machines I’ll be securing can do it for me.

Jeffry, 17

Why did you join the team?
It sounded like a cool competition, and something I would enjoy doing. It also fit in pretty well with what I was currently interested in (exploitation and ctf challenges).

What career would you like to pursue in the future?
Probably something along the lines of software or AI engineering/development, specifically I’d really enjoy video game cheat development.

What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?
Mainly develop cheats or exploits for video games, like CS:GO and some Unity games like Blockade Classic, because they’re super easy to decompile. Sometimes I read, or watch YouTube videos on these subjects.

What is your Favorite food or snack?
I don’t really like eating, but probably just chocolate.

Name 3 things you would bring with you to a deserted island.
A comfortable boat with enough good food and water for a few hundred years. A few guns. A nice computer with fast, unlimited satellite internet.

Oh my gosh, it’s Dereck!
